Supported Missions

Called to be witnesses of Christ’s Kingdom to the ends of the earth, we seek to carry out this mission as a congregation by supporting outreach efforts in our community, in North America, and around the world.

We are currently partnered with missionaries in the following areas:

  • Eastern Europe – Church Leadership Training and Ethnic Reconciliation

  • Southern Africa – Community Development and Food Security

  • Dominican Republic and Haiti – Church Planting & Leadership Training

  • New Jersey – Urban Youth Programs

 Additionally our church sponsors:

  • Weekly Bible Study and outreach to seniors at the Arcola Towers apartment building in Silver Spring.

  • Occasional intergenerational teams from our congregation to assist in relief and restoration efforts in communities impacted by disasters (e.g. teams of adults and teens sent to areas of North Carolina recovering from the impacts of Hurricane Matthew in 2016).
